Meet the Team

Retirement Planning Is Personal. So Is Our Team.

Meet Mark Rogers, CLTC, LUTCF

Founder — My Safe Money Matters | Host — Talking Turning 65

Mark Rogers is the founder of My Safe Money Matters and the host of the Talking Turning 65 retirement education platform. He holds the Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC) and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designations, has been an active NAIFA member since 2008, and has spent more than 20 years helping clients across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho prepare for retirement.

Mark built his practice around a simple belief: an informed client makes a better decision. That philosophy drives every consultation, annual review, and educational resource he provides. As host of the main Talking Turning 65 show and Diving Deep for Retirement with Rodney, he covers Social Security, annuities, long-term care, life insurance, and retirement income strategy in plain English — free, any time.

Married for more than 33 years, Mark and his wife live on a small family farm in eastern Washington and enjoy spending time with their three adult children and growing family.

Meet Claudia

Executive Assistant | Single Women in Retirement Contributor

Living in Northeast Oregon, Claudia is approaching retirement herself and is actively preparing for the transition many of our clients are navigating today.

Before joining the team, Claudia spent five years caring for her mother. That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of the emotional, practical, and financial realities families face when long-term care, caregiving responsibilities, and retirement planning intersect.

Today, Claudia brings that perspective to every conversation she has. She is a contributor to the Single Women in Retirement podcast, helping guide discussions around retirement confidence, caregiving, financial preparedness, and the questions many women face as they enter a new stage of life. Her passion is helping people feel informed, prepared, and supported as they think through their own next chapter.

Meet Leith

Licensed Medicare and Short-Term Care Agent | Single Women in Retirement Featured Voice

Based in Southwest Washington, Leith brings more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, including a strong background in employee benefits and retirement planning support.

As a retiree herself, Leith understands the real-life decisions, questions, and emotions that come with transitioning into retirement. Her perspective is grounded not only in professional experience but in personal experience navigating many of the same choices clients face today.

Leith is a featured voice on the Single Women in Retirement podcast, where she shares practical insight and real-world perspective for women planning their next chapter with confidence. When she is not working with clients or contributing to retirement education, you will find her caring for her horses and enjoying life in the Pacific Northwest.
